Sexual Assault Allegations Against Dr Jawad Ahmad in Trentham
Zarzuty napaści seksualnej wobec dr. Jawada Ahmada w Trentham
On 20 June 2020, Dr Jawad Ahmad, who was working as a urology registrar at Royal Stoke University Hospital, was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a teenage girl at Trentham Monkey Forest in Stoke-on-Trent. Two days later, he allegedly signed a contract extension with University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust without informing his employer of the arrest. Ahmad also faced allegations of sexual misconduct involving a junior doctor at Royal Stoke University Hospital. According to allegations considered by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, he allegedly hugged her as she tried to leave, pushed her onto a chair, massaged her back and shoulders and kissed her without consent. The General Medical Council also alleged that he dishonestly failed to disclose his arrest. Ahmad left the UK after the allegations were raised and, according to Staffordshire Police, was believed to be in Pakistan. In August 2026, the MPTS misconduct proceedings continued in his absence. The alleged conduct remained accusations and did not constitute a finding of guilt in criminal proceedings.
Dwa dni później miał podpisać przedłużenie kontraktu z University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust bez poinformowania pracodawcy o zatrzymaniu.
